The question you should ask yourself before you telephone your landlord and ask for
a call out is:
“Would I call someone in and pay for it if this was my property?”
However, if in doubt do not hesitate to contact landlord.

Appliance is not working
First check electricity is switched on and fuse is working.
Gas boiler is not working
Is electricity off or no gas supple, if so, inform your utilities suppler.
Try the “Reset button”
Is water pressure gauge showing low water pressure or lights off on boiler? If so,
imform Mieproperties.
Radiators are not work, however, the gas boiler is providing hot water
Do batteries in heating controls need replacing or radiators need bleeding?
Black mould is starting to form
Dry wet washing outside, if it is not possible,
Only dry wet washing indoors in a room with a window open sufficiently to vent high
humidity.
What do I if I lose my front door key?
If we are available, you can pick up a spare key from us, have it copied and returned
to us. If the loss is outside of working hours our during holidays, you will have to hire
a locksmith.
Batteries need replacing in equipment e. g. alarms, heating controls etc.
Contractually it is the responsible of tenants to replace batteries.

Do I need to tell my landlord I’m going on holiday?
Yes, if you are going to be away from the property for more then two weeks so
MieProperties can inform insurance company and thus protect the Insurance cover.
A copy of Tenancy Agreement
An electronic copy is sent to you and a hard copy was given to you by our agent when
you collected the key. If further copies are required you will have to visit our agent
and request same for which there could be a charge.
